Sales Engineer - Renewable Energy - UK

THE COMPANY
Renewable energy is the future of the power generation market. Our company FreeCell Energy Ltd www.freecellenergy.com manufactures and supply Solar Panels, Hybrid/ Solar Street Lights, Solar Park Lights, Solar Road Signs, Solar Road Studs, Solar Lanterns, and Wind Turbines. We are now looking to develop our business within UK to sell these solar energy solutions.
THE ROLE
The main focus of the role will be to develop new business, in the renewable energy sector.
Identifying fresh opportunities to provide solar energy solutions
Preparing technical and commercial proposals with company Directors
Build upon client portfolio to establish new business whilst identifying new opportunities.
Negotiate and finalize contracts
Demonstrate a steady consistent sales performance
Maintain regular external customer contact so they have accurate knowledge of the organizations services
Develop company marketing strategies and plans
Monitoring the progress of sales projects
Able to liaise with all levels - from engineers to CEO
THE PERSON
Applicants for this Sales Engineer position must be:
Degree qualified or experienced - ideally in an renewable engineering discipline with good understanding of solar & wind energy technology
Experienced in selling solar/wind power products to the power generation industry, local councils, property developers etc
Commercially aware to manage a business pipeline as well as negotiate new contracts
Willing to work autonomously
